About Kadai Paneer

Kadai Paneer is a best dish of paneer recipes from the north India.
Kadhai paneer is paneer, onions,tomato and capsicum cubes cooked in a spicy onion-tomato-chopeed gravy with  fresh ground homemade kadai masala spice mix.Kadai is a large and shallow cooking pan and paneer is a Indian cottage cheese. This is special fresh ground homemade spice powder gives this gravy a very different and tastey flavor.

For kadai masala

1 tbs Coriander seeds

2 tsp Cumin seeds

4-5 Kashmiri Red Chilli

1 tsp Kalonji ( onions seeds)

1/2 tsp Methi Dana

1/2 tsp Raie (mustard seeds)

1 tbsp salt

For Kadai Paneer

1 tbsp Oil

1 tsp Cumin seeds

1 inch Ginger, chopped

 3 large Onion, chopped

1 1/2  tsp Ginger garlic paste

½ tsp Turmeric Powder

1 tsp Degi chilli powder

3 large Tomatoes, puree

Salt to taste

1 tsp Ghee

1 tsp Oil

1 Medium onion, cubes 

½ Capsicum, cubes 

1 Tomato, cubes 

Salt according to taste 

250 Gram paneer, cubes 

1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder

1 tbsp kadai masala

1 tbsp fresh Cream

Coriander Sprig







For Kadai masala 

Take a pan.Add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, Kashmiri red chilli,Kalonji (onions seeds), methi dana ,raie (mustard seeds)and salt
Dry roast on low flame 
Let it cool and grind it into fine powder.

For Kadai Paneer

Take a pan, add oil/ghee. Heat oil or ghee on medium flame, now add cumin, ginger and  .Add onion saute well, till onions light brown and now ginger garlic paste add and saute till raw smell goes off.
Add turmeric powder, degi red chilli powder  and saute well.
Add red tomato puree, salt to taste and water and let it cook properly.
Take a pan, add  ghee.
Add cubes onion, cubes capcium, cubes tomato and salt and tossed for tow minute.
Add paneer cubes to it and tossed.
Add kashmiri red chilli powder and prepared homemade kadai masala to it and saute properly.
Add the prepared gravy to the pan and saute well.
Add cream and mix together, and Garnish with chopped coriander.




Kadai Paneer served:-

Kadai Paneer served with butter naan/Lacha pratha/Tandoori roti with Salad.
