This is an easy and most likely pasta recipe made with creamy white sauce with tasty and soft
 penne pasta. It served for lunch or dinner party or it is a perfect recipes for lunch box.This recipe is inspired from the italian Cuisine white sauce pasta but it is indian style white sauce pasta 
White sauce penne pasta is one of the most popular pasta recipes that you can make. It is likely in childerns and adults. You can make plain white sauce pasta or make it healthy nutritious with colorful some 

White Sauce Pasta is very easy recipe for cooked pasta in a creamy white sauce. This creamy sauce name also known as Béchamel sauce. Simply prepare the white sauce is a mixture of butter, full cream milk, all purpose flour and spices, mix hurbs, and pour it over your cooked penne pasta and colourfull vegetables.




For White Sauce
1- 3 tablespoons Butter – salted or unsalted
2- 2  tablespoons all-purpose flour
3- 1 1/2 cup whole milk – lukewarm 
4- ¼ teaspoon white pepper powder or add as per required
5- 1 tsp mix hurbs 
6- salt according to taste 

For Cooking Pasta

7- 1 1/2 cup penne pasta – 150 grams
8- 6 cups water
9- 1tsp teaspoon salt or according to taste 

More Ingredients
10- ¼ teaspoon dry oregano
11- ¼ teaspoon dried basil
12- ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
For Garnish
13- 1 tablespoon fresh herbs 
14- 1 to 2 tablespoons cheese or vegetarian parmesan cheese, grated – add as required, optional


Make White Sauce Pasta

Make White Sauce
Heat a dip pan. Keep the flame low and add 3 tablespoons butter and malt.You can use salted or unsalted butteron your choice. 
When the butter melts and starts to bubble in butter, add 1 1/2 tablespoon all purpose flour (maidaWhen the butter melts and starts to bubble, add 1 tablespoon whole wheat flour (atta) or choose to swap 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (maida) with the whole wheat flour.) and saute till brown. Using a whisk or slicer  stir the flour quickly as soon as you add it. Keep stirring so that no lumps are formed. The frequent stirring helps the flour to cook properly 
You will see that the flour frothing and bubbling up while stirring. Sauté until you get a nice cooked flavor.The flour is golden brown color. Don’t dark  brown colour the flour.
Keep the flame of stove on low and pour 1 1/2 cup lukewarm milk in a gentle stream with one hand and stir the sauce mixture with the other hand properly.
Stir frequently, while the milk heats up boil. On low heat, simmer the sauce till it thick. Add the seasonings – ¼ teaspoon white pepper powder, a  tsp mix hurbs and salt according to taste.Mix very well.The sauce has thick well and  turn off the heat
Remove the pan from the heat and keep aside in the kitchen. 
Keep in your mind that the white sauce will thicken as it cools, so keep the consistency accordingly.



Cook Pasta

 Boil 6 cups water with ½ teaspoon salt in a dip pan and Add 1 tsp salt 
When the water comes to a boil, add 1 1/2 cup penne pasta.Cook the pasta on a medium heat.
When the penne pasta cooked and done, turn off the flame. For a more softer texture, cook the pasta a little over. Strain the pasta with a large strainer. Cool the pasta from the cold water 



Make White Sauce Penne Pasta

Add the cooked penne pasta to the prepared white sauce.Add ¼ teaspoon each of dried oregano, dried basil and dried thyme. Or add your choice of herbs.
And, you can add some (caret, French bens coliflower, peas, broccoli, capsicum)steamed, cooked, sautéed or roasted vegetables too, if your choice Mix very well and properly. 
Serve White Sauce penne Pasta garnished with some fresh parsley, basil. You can also garnish with some grated cheese.


SMART TIPS

Add vegetables of your choice. I often add green peppers, carrots and peas. Even mushrooms would go well.
You can add some grated cheese before serving.
Skip cream and cheese to keep this simple. I often make it that way and it comes out just as good. Adding some cream and cheese just makes it extra creamy and rich
This pasta is served immediately. You can store in the refrigerator. Re-heat in microwave on in a pan on medium heat.
Make sure you don’t overcook your pasta. Follow the instructions of the package to make it al-dente.
Amount of seasoning and type of seasoning used can be adjusted to preference your choice.
